The college has well-furnished and enriched library of 16 square meter with well-furnished reading room for students with totalsitting capacity of 60 students. It has good collecti- ons of reference books, textbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries and other knowledge resources and e-library through INFLIBNET, N-List program.

 The Library Advisory Committee serves as a dedicated pillar, harmonizing its efforts to empower the library’s growth and contribute to its developmental initiatives. Its primary mission is to champion library development activities, fostering a seamless connection among the library, academic community, and institute management. In doing so, the committee aspires to cultivate an environment where the library not only thrives but also serves as a vibrant link connecting the scholarly pursuits within the academic realm and the strategic vision of the institute.

Aims and Objectives of Library Advisory Committee:

1.Establishing a guiding framework for the Library to ensure overall direction.
2.Conducting periodic reviews of the library’s performance, particularly in its support of the institute’s academic programs.
3.Articulating and adapting the library’s collection development policy as needed, overseeing its effective implementation.
4.Constantly monitoring and assessing advancements in information technologies, networking, library automation, and cooperation, guiding the library in their integration.
5.Soliciting and evaluating feedback from library users to enhance services and responsiveness.
6.Formulating comprehensive policies and procedures for library usage.
7.Collaborating with the library to deliver information services tailored to specific needs.
8.Examining the resource requirements for new programs and advising on financial allocations.
9.Assessing the book procurement process department-wise and allocating budgets accordingly.

The library must preserve strict quiet, decorum, and discipline. The use of mobile phones is also prohibited.

No eating, smoking, sleeping, or talking is permitted in the library.

Papers removed from the shelves must be placed on the table. Replacing books on shelves is discouraged since they may go misplaced. A misplaced book is the same as a lost book.

A non-member may use the library’s materials on the premises with the Librarian’s consent.

Readers should not underline, highlight, dog-ear, scribble on, shred pages, or otherwise damage library publications.

Newspapers, journals, and magazines may only be read on specified tables in the library and may not be moved to other reading locations.

No library materials may be removed from the premises without authorization. Illegal removal of library property will be viewed as theft and dealt with appropriately.

Anybody who breaches the library’s rules and regulations risks losing their library membership and being prevented from utilizing the library’s facilities.

Any suggestions for library services are welcome.
